Blanchard Family Turns To Facebook To Help Find Missing Woman

Jaymie Adams husband tells us she is not only a wife and a mother, but was expecting another child at the time of her disappearance. Since then, family and friends have set up three Facebook pages hoping to bring Jaymie home safe.

Jaymie and her husband of almost a year live in Blanchard with her kids but Jaymie grew up in Nowata, Oklahoma. Now friends and family from her hometown and every place in between are showing their support on Facebook.

Police say Jaymie's husband Justin Adams found her van parked at the McDonalds at I-40 and Douglas in Midwest City early Saturday morning. Her husband told police Jaymie sent a text just after midnight on Saturday saying she was meeting a friend at the restaurant. Police reports show her husband did not know anything about the friend she was supposed to meet.

The report shows police pressed Justin for a name of the person Jaymie expected to meet but he repeatedly told the officer he did not know anything about the friend. Sources tells News 9, Jaymie worked a side job giving massages to earn extra money but its unclear if that is what Jaymie was doing at the time of her disappearance. The missing person's report shows the officer pressed Justin again about why he did not gain the name of Jaymie's friend but the officer notes Justin became agitated with the questioning. Reports also indicate Justin asked the officer for a slim jim to get into their abandoned van but the officer refused.

It is unclear if police collected evidence from inside the van but police say investigators are reviewing surveillance from a nearby business. Police say Jaymie's cell phone has not helped investigators pinpoint her location. They also say at this point they do not have any record of a place where Jaymie may have worked or any places she would frequent
