NEW YORK CITY – Oklahoma State receiver Justin Blackmon received the Fred Biletnikoff Award Thursday for the second consecutive season.
The Biletnikoff Award is given annually to the nation's best wide receiver, and Blackmon became the second player to ever receive the honor in back-to-back seasons. The other such honoree was Texas Tech's Michael Crabtree, who received the award in the 2007 and 2008 seasons.
Blackmon finished second in the nation with 133 receptions this season and tied for third with 15 touchdowns. Blackmon beat USC's Robert Woods and Oklahoma's Ryan Broyles for the Biletnikoff Award.
Blackmon is the only OSU player to win the Biletnikoff, and he and Crabtree also are the only Big 12 players to win it.
