A group of families is suing a former McLoud Elementary School teacher after allegations of inappropriate relationships surfaced on November 22.
On Wednesday, the families' attorney spoke out.
Just as a criminal investigation continues to build against the former teacher, a civil lawsuit is filed against Kimberly Crain of Shawnee.

Parents say five fourth and third grade girls were invited to Crain's Shawnee home to put up Christmas decorations. That's when parents say Crain told the girls to go into a bedroom and change into bras and panties. Shortly after, the families say, Crain photographed the girls in the underwear.
Since that time, new information from the investigation reveals more inappropriate acts may have been committed at McLoud Elementary School.
"There are other allegations that are surfacing daily about incidents that may or may not have taken place at the school," said Joe Vorndran, the families' attorney. "Some of these photographs [that] may arise may border on pornography. If the school did not take proper steps to keep these children safe and protected, then we're going to seek causes of action against them."
Vorndran says parents tell him Crain took daily photos of the girls for a long period of time, so there could potentially be thousands of inappropriate pictures taken.
Crain resigned from McLoud Elementary School shortly after the criminal investigation against her began.
