Emergency crews rescued a deer hunter who accidentally rolled his 4-wheel ATV down a steep hill in Harrah, Oklahoma Tuesday afternoon.
Officials said deputies with the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office, along with the Harrah Fire Department Rescue Team, were called to assist a man who rolled his ATV down a steep hill near Northeast 23rd Street and Peebly Road in Harrah at around 5:30 p.m.
Police said the hunter was trying to go up a riverbank when his ATV rolled on top of him. The hunter did have his cell phone with him and was able to call for help and lead rescuers right to where he was.
According to authorities, rescue crews have to rappel down a 50-foot embankment to rescue the injured hunter.
The man was transported to a local hospital and he is expected to be okay.
