Norman Woman Accused Of Raping Teen Bound Over For Trial

A woman accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a 13-year-old boy has been bound over for trial.

Thirty-eight-year-old Amy Blose was charged with rape and lewd acts with a child.  Prosecutors said she had sex with a boy who was a friend and classmate of her teenage daughter.

The ruling came after several students from Norman High School testified during Blose's preliminary hearing.  Extra counts were also added to the list of charges. 

On her way to the courtroom, Blose refused to show her face or make any comment. The victim is now 14 and testified that Blose touched him inappropriately several times during gatherings at her house. He also testified about how the two would have sex at her house and other places, while he was in junior high. One of his friends also testified about the inappropriate contact he witnessed between the two. Some of the parents who attended Thursday's court proceedings are disgusted and appalled by the allegations.

Blose was jailed before the hearing because she violated the terms of her release while out on bond. Prosecutors said Blose tried to have notes delivered to the victim.

Blose's request to have a new bond set was denied by the judge.

A trial date has not yet been set.
