STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- The Oklahoma State Cowboys are a talented bunch for the 2011-2012 season, but face the difficulty of a tough Big 12 schedule with freshmen playing at key positions.
OSU boasts two top 15 recruits from 2011 recruiting class, forward LeBryan Nash and point guard Cezar Guerrero, but head coach Travis Ford is the most impressed by things other than the talent of the young stars.
"Their attitudes have been good. Their work ethic has been great. It's a very close basketball team, which is fun for coaches," head coach Travis Ford said. "[It's great] having guys you can count on. It's a very good group."
The Cowboys open their exhibition season Nov. 6 against Panhandle State, and will open their regular season against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at 7 p.m. Oct. 11.
