OKLAHOMA CITY -- A man charged with one count of rape and 98 counts of sexual abuse of a child will have to wait for his day in court.
The trial of Antonio Cervantes was scheduled to begin Monday, October 24, in Oklahoma County. It's been pushed back because Cervantes' attorney is in the middle of a federal trial.
A new start date for Cervantes' trial has not been set yet.
Cervantes is accused of raping a woman in 2007 and sexually abusing a young girl. He was once one of Oklahoma's most wanted fugitives. Police arrested him in 2009 when someone called authorities and gave them Cervantes' location.
Cervantes has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
