EDMOND, Oklahoma – The Edmond Santa Fe Wolves continued their incredible start to the season Thursday with a 67-0 drubbing of U.S. Grant.
The Wolves began the game with a 66-yard touchdown return of the opening kickoff by Daniel Bly, which started a trend of long scoring plays. Only two minutes later, Edmond Santa Fe scored on a 67-yard touchdown run by Khari Harding and the rout was on.
Santa Fe had three more touchdown plays of longer than 35 yards – including a second special teams touchdown – in the first half alone. The Wolves led 54-0 at the half and coasted after that.
Santa Fe has seen one of the biggest turnarounds in the state so far this season. In the first year under head coach Lance Manning, the Wolves have gone from a one-win team last year to 6-1 this season with wins over Westmoore, Lawton and Mustang.
