Bobbi Parker Sentencing On Hold

LAWTON, Oklahoma -- Comanche County Judge Allen McCall  admitted the Bobbi Parker's defense team had a "compelling argument," but ultimately decided he didn't have the authority as a district court judge to disqualify the judge that heard Parker's case. He also said he couldn't let her out on bond.

Parker's attorneys maintain she did not get a fair trial, stating Judge Richard Darby should have dismissed himself because his brother works for the district attorney.

Defense attorneys also said jurors weren't allowed to see key pieces of evidences and pointed out that 13 witnesses in the case were deceased and that the statute of limitations had expired.

Seventeen years after the prison escape of Randolph Dial which she was convicted of assisting, Parker was escorted back to back to her cell to wait.

People who watch the case filled the courtroom and while Parker's youngest child broke down in tears, her supporters became outraged.

"I would have liked for them to set up bond so at least she can be with her family.  Where is she gonna go?" Alexis Rushano said

There has been no word on when Parker will be sentenced or if she will be released on bond.

The court of appeals will rule on the motion to disqualify the judge.
