Oklahoma High School Coach Charged With Having Sex With Student

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A Western Heights teacher and coach is formally charged with having sex with a student.

The 32-year-old boys' basketball coach, Tyrone Lamont Nash, was charged Monday with five counts of second-degree rape and five counts of oral sodomy.

According to court documents, the victim said the relationship started a year and half ago when she was a sophomore. She said she got drunk at a party one night, and Nash offered her a ride. According to the victim, Nash did not ask where to take her, instead, he allegedly took the victim back to his house and had sex with her that night.

Nash remains in jail on a $150,000 bond.
