Police Arrest Driver Accused Of Hitting Woman In Bricktown

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police say a woman who may have been driving drunk struck a pedestrian with her car in Bricktown.

It happened around 1:40 a.m. Friday. Police say the woman was driving a white Cadillac south on Mickey Mantle Drive. Another woman was walking across the street at Mickey Mantle and Sheridan. Police say the driver struck the woman but didn't stop.

Officers pulled the driver over less than a mile away. She was arrested leaving the scene of an accident, and is being investigated for possibly driving under the influence.

The victim sustained a broken leg, black eye and bruises, but she's expected to be okay.
