ENID, Oklahoma -- In the true pioneer spirit, News 9 followed the Chisolm Trail north to Enid Friday. We spent the day getting to know Oklahoma's Own in Garfield County.
Enid is a great city, and it is a city on the move. And only in Enid, can you get away with a Longhorn shirt.
Robin Marsh supported the Chisolm Longhorns, and even treated some students to breakfast at Wee Too Restaurant.
Lauren Nelson and Christina Eckert hit a fitness class at government springs park. Don't let them fool you, stroller fit was a lot of fun!
We "lost" Val Caster on the Getner, only to find him at Enid High School. Val and Michael Armstrong brought News 9 weather to the classroom!
Amanda Taylor and Kelly Ogle learned a thing or two at Leonardo's Discovery Warehouse.
Of course, it didn't take long before we "discovered" some new friends!
Get ready for our next Road Trip. News 9 is heading to Shawnee September 9.
