Three EMSA Units Dispatched to Whitewater Bay

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A strong wind gust damaged a shade structure at White Water Bay and sent four guests to the hospital Wednesday afternoon, according to a statement released by the park.

Guests had been cleared out of all pools at about 4:40 p.m. as the storm approached when the wind gust struck damaging the structure.

On-site paramedics responded and four injured guests were transported to area hospitals as a precaution.

None of the injuries were life-threatening.
