OKLAHOMA CITY -- A Nichols Hills attorney finds herself on the other side of the law. Prosecutors charged 39-year-old Amy McTeer with harboring a fugitive. She's accused of helping a prison escape on July 9.
Police say they found evidence that McTeer helped plan Roy Kuykendall's escape from the Union City Correction facility.
According to investigators, McTeer let Kuykendall stay at her house, and the two were planning to get married.
McTeer's brother called the police about the couple. Officers caught Kuykendall and McTeer having lunch at a Bricktown restaurant last week.
