Edmond Man Arrested For Possession Of Marijuana

EDMOND, Oklahoma- Edmond police have arrested a man for the possession of marijuana after they searched his apartment.

Police received an anonymous call and were informed of the strong odor of marijuana coming out of 36-year-old Alan Christopher Lime's apartment. The smell was stronger inside of the house as they entered. Lime showed the officers a plastic tray with a black JVC plastic case, green leafy substance and one roach. The JVC plastic case contained a marijuana pipe, 6 roaches, two rolling papers and small decorative baggies with a small amount of hash.

However, according to the police report, officers found shoe box on a shelf that contained a purple Crown Royal bag that had 45 grams of marijuana inside a zip lock type bag, a black marijuana grinder, and prescribed medication.

Police collected evidence and arrested Lime. He was charged with the Possession of CDS with the intent to distribute within 2000' of school AFC, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia AFC. Lime was transported to Edmond City Jail for booking and to be later transported to Oklahoma City.

All evidence of marijuana and hash were booked into property packaged to be sent to OSBI for testing.
