OKLAHOMA CITY -- High winds hampered firefighters' efforts in extinguishing a blaze in northeast Oklahoma City Saturday night.
Crews from four different fire departments battled the blaze which destroyed a home in the 3400 block of east Cardinal Drive, near N.E. 36th and Bryant.
Firefighters were called to the scene shortly after 11 p.m. and found the one-story brick home fully engulfed in flames.
Neighbors said they heard what sounded like explosions around the time of the fire.
No one was home when the blaze erupted. No injuries were reported.
