VA Announces Opening Of Outpatient Clinic In Ada

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Veterans in Ada will soon have another option for healthcare. 

The Oklahoma City Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Ada Adult Medicine Clinic announce the opening of a joint medical clinic on July 1, 2011. The clinic will be located at Ada Adult Medicine Clinic, 301 North Monte Vista Avenue.

A VA outpatient clinic, operated by the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center and Ada Adult Medicine Clinic, will bring primary care services to over 1,500 Veterans in Ada, Oklahoma and the surrounding communities.

"We at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center are truly excited about our partnership with the Ada Adult Medicine Clinic. This union will allow the Oklahoma City VA to bring first-class health care closer to home for Veterans in the Ada area," said David Wood, Medical Center Director.

Veterans interested in switching their primary care physician to the VA Ada Clinic should contact Teresa Harmon, Community Based Outpatient Clinic Coordinator, at (405) 456-3605.

Veterans who are not already enrolled for care at the VA Medical Center should contact Eligibility at (405) 456-5774.
