The Thunder got a big win Tuesday night to start the post-All Star break schedule by dumping Dallas 99-86 in the Ford Center. Here are my Top 10 wins so far this season for the Thunder:
10) Nuggets, 101-84, Ford Center (Jan. 29) - The ice storm game. OKC hammered the top team in the division. George Karl told me at All-Star weekend that after that game they held a team meeting and told his team that they were going to have to start taking the Thunder more seriously.
9) Suns, 117-113, Phoenix (Dec. 23) - Prevented three-game road sweep out west.
8) Jazz, 87-86, Ford Center (Dec. 31) - New Year's Eve thriller. Happy New Year.
7) Jazz, 104-94, Salt Lake City (Nov. 24) - One of the toughest places to win in the NBA.
6) Heat, 100-87, Miami (Nov. 17) - Early season win in D-Wade's house.
5) Blazers, 89-77, Portland (Feb. 9) - Closed out the pre-All Star break schedule in style on the road.
4) Spurs, 101-98, San Antonio (Nov. 14) - Huge confidence builder.
3) Magic, 102-74, Ford Center (Nov. 8) - A mammoth beatdown of the defending Eastern Conference Champs. It opened everybody's eyes.
2) Mavericks, 99-86, Ford Center (Feb. 16) - Opened post-All Star break schedule in style. Sent statement to the team they are now chasing in the West.
1) Hawks, 94-91, Atlanta (Jan. 18) - MLK Day classic highlighted by the Thunder play of the year so far...Jeff Green's game-clinching dunk over Josh Smith. OKC found swagger and hasn't lost it since.
