It's a tough year to determine the real Heisman winner; and even tougher to figure out who should win the "Oklahoma Heisman." Injuries and disappointing results for OU, OSU and TU left us with fewer marquee performances this season. But my Oklahoma Heisman ballot would look like this.
(Honorable Mention: Perrish Cox, Jeremy Beal, Brian Jackson)
3) Russell Okung - The big OSU left tackle was nearly flawless, not allowing a sack all season until Bedlam. He was dominant, and is about to be very rich.
2) Keith Toston - Almost 1200 yards on the ground with Kendall Hunter on the shelf. The best running back in the Big 12 this season.
1) Ryan Broyles - The biggest home run threat in the state this year and the most exciting. Nearly 1,000 yards receiving and eye-popping 76 catches and 12 touchdowns. (Now hopefully after he finds out he's won he won't showboat and get an unsportsmanlike conduct flag.)
