This will be a little bit of a religious experience Saturday...my 1st trip to Memorial Stadium in Lincoln.

I'll be on the same sideline where I saw Keith Jackson make "the catch" and so many more memories under the gray, cold, late-November Nebraska sky.

The rivalry may not be what it once was, but I'll never forget that knot in my stomach every time the block "N" and interlocking "OU" met after Thanksgiving. The Big Eight title, Orange Bowl, National Championship and control of the universe was inevitably always on the line.

The uniforms are the same. And the stage is the same in Lincoln. The sea of red is the same at Memorial Stadium that would rather lose an entire corn harvest than see their beloved Cornhuskers lose to Oklahoma.

Trust me, I'll take time to look around ans soak it in. I'm really looking forward to this.

BTW: Nebraska can't march the field on OU. If the Sooners don't gift wrap points, they win. Prediction: OU-20, Nebraska-7.
