Red Robin Bruschetta Chicken Sandwich
Ingredients:
Ciabatta Bun, toasted to a golden brown
Grilled chicken breast
Crisp shredded romaine lettuce
Provolone cheese
Pesto aioli (recipe below)
Balsamic cream (recipe below)
Tomato-bruschetta salsa (recipe below)
Directions:
Pesto aioli
Make your own pesto or use your favorite store-bought pesto. Add it to your favorite mayonnaise to taste. Refrigerate before using to allow the flavors come together.
Balsamic cream
Mix together balsamic vinegar and your favorite mayonnaise to taste. Refrigerate before using to allow the flavors to come together.
Tomato-bruschetta salsa
Mix together diced tomatoes, red onion, basil, garlic, and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Wash and scrub the produce prior to cutting.
Use a hot grill and oil the grates before cooking the chicken breast.
Grill the patty to a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees for a minimum of 15 seconds to ensure chicken is cooked thoroughly and to maximize flavor and juiciness.
Add a slice of provolone cheese to the chicken and allow it to melt. Take it of the grill.
Spread the balsamic cream on the bottom bun and the pesto aioli on the top bun. Then layer the ingredients on in the following order from the bottom bun up: shredded romaine, grilled chicken breast with the melted provolone cheese, tomato bruschetta salsa and the top bun.
Red Robin Burnin' Love Burger
Ingredients:
Fresh ground beef made into a patty, 1/3 lb or larger, 80% lean or above
Jalapeño cornmeal Kaiser bun, toasted to a golden brown
Cayenne pepper seasoning, to taste
Pepper-jack cheese
Fresh, ripe tomato, sliced
Salsa, homemade or store-bought
Fresh fried jalapeño rings
Crisp iceberg lettuce, thinly shredded
Chipotle mayonnaise
Wash and scrub the produce prior to cutting.
Use a hot grill and oil the grates before cooking the burger.
Grill the patty to a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees for a minimum of 15 seconds to maximize flavor and juiciness. Season the patty with a couple shakes of cayenne pepper. Add pepper-jack cheese and allow it to melt. Take it of the grill.
Toast the bun to a golden brown. Spread chipotle mayonnaise on both side. Then layer the ingredients on in the following order from the bottom bun up: shredded lettuce, burger patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, salsa and a few crispy fried jalapeño rings. Cover with the top bun.
