OKLAHOMA CITY -- Police arrested a man with a violent criminal history for the third time in two weeks.
Derrick Miles was arrested Thursday on drug charges.
Miles was arrested in April after police found a gun inside his truck. Investigators determined the gun was taken during a home invasion in northwest Oklahoma City in February. During the home invasion, the male victim was beaten, duct taped and zip tied inside the house and his wife was tied up. According to the arrest warrant, Miles confessed to the crime.
Miles was released from jail five days later because the district attorney had not filed any charges yet. The D.A.'s office said charges have not been filed because the investigation is ongoing.
Miles was arrested again on Monday for a gun violation but bonded out two hours later.
A judge has not yet set a bond for Miles' latest arrest.
