Greenvale Elementary School Under Lock Down

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Greenvale Elementary School at 901 Greenvale Road is on lock down while police search for a person who ran from them.

Police tried to talk to two suspicious persons near an apartment complex at Greenvale Road and N. W. 10th in Oklahoma City.  Greenvale is between Rockwell and Council. One person threw down a gun, and another ran from the police.

The person who threw down the gun is in custody. The person who ran was reaching in his waistband, so police believe he could be armed.

Several police officers have set up a perimeter, and a K9 unit is searching for the suspect west of Greenvale Road near N. W. 10th Street.
