Road Trip Oklahoma Series Launches with Trip to Norman

Oklahoma's Own News 9 has deep roots in Oklahoma and we understand the importance of building strong relationships with other Oklahomans. As a result, we are on the move with a new series, Road Trip Oklahoma. Over the course of the next year, we will be visiting different communities across the state to get to know you and show the state what makes your town so special.

The first stop on Road Trip Oklahoma - Norman, Oklahoma.

The News 9 Team will take a short trip down the interstate to Norman, Oklahoma, for the first Road Trip Oklahoma stop on March 31.

Norman offers big city opportunities with a small town setting. Also known for being the home to Oklahoma University, game days in Norman bring an exciting atmosphere to the entire community. OU has received recognition for sports and academic accomplishments on a national and global level.

Famous Oklahomans from Norman, Oklahoma, include Vince Gill and James Garner.
