OKC Police Officer Charged With Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses

An 18-year veteran of the Oklahoma City Police Department has been charged with obtaining money under false pretenses.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- An 18-year veteran of the Oklahoma City Police Department has been charged with obtaining money under false pretenses.

Police said Sergeant Willie Williams is charged with three counts of obtaining money under false pretenses. During their investigation of Sergeant Williams, police said they found he was doing personal business on company time.

"Time cards were submitted where this man submitted he was working when in fact the investigation showed he was not," said Oklahoma City Police Capt. Patrick Stewart.

 Sergeant Williams worked as an undercover officer.

 He's currently on paid administrative leave.
