Driver Sideswipes Swadley's BBQ In Bethany Then Crashes Into Tree

OKLAHOMA CITY -- An elderly woman was transported to a hospital after her car sideswiped a Bethany restaurant before crashing into a tree Tuesday afternoon.

The 89-year-old woman was apparently at the drive-thru at Swadley's BBQ near N.W. 39th Street and Rockwell Avenue when, for an unknown, she lost control of the vehicle, hit the side of the building then smashed into a tree.

The woman was transported to the hospital in serious conditions.

Her name has not been released.
