OKLAHOMA CITY -- School districts across the metro will have crews out assessing the roads. Those road crews will then report back to administrators who will make the call whether it's safe to resume classes on Thursday.

Crews with Oklahoma City Public Schools will start driving around early Wednesday evening starting at 4 p.m. Mid Del Schools will also begin driving their routes later Wednesday evening.

Steve Lindley with the Putnam City School District said their Transportation Director and Superintendent have been out assessing the roads in their area. They are also watching weather reports to get a gage on the temperatures and whether they would be too cold for students waiting for the school bus or walking to school.
