TECUMSEH, Oklahoma – A fight broke out during a high school basketball game in Tecumseh Friday night as the Tecumseh Savages took on the Riverside Braves. Witnesses said a hard foul on the court turned into a bench clearing brawl between the teams.
One spectator said the foul was called on a Tecumseh player in the fourth quarter. Multiple fans said it was a bad call and that's when players started yelling at each other and the fight began.
Original reports were that police officers came in to break up the fight and actually pointed a taser at one player and handcuffed another.
No players were taken into custody though and the handcuffed player was later released.
Tecumseh was winning 67-40 in the fourth quarter when the game was called due to the fight.
Once the teams were separated, police escorted the Riverside High School basketball team out of Tecumseh.
