Man Arrested for Stealing 'Sexy' Costume

OKLAHOMA CITY -- A man was arrested last Thursday for attempting to steal a woman's Halloween costume.

According to police, the man was inside Party Galaxy on Macarthur Boulevard when an off duty Oklahoma City police officer working security witnessed him carry a costume  towards the back of the store. The officer then witnessed the man remove the costume from the bag and stuff it down his pants.

When the man saw the officer he tried to remove the costume and get away, but he was apprehended and arrested.

The costume was a "Sexy Referee" costume.

The man was arrested on complaints of larceny of merchandise and obstructing an officer. He also had an outstanding warrant from Washita County.
