Chickasha High School Football Player's Funeral Set for Tuesday

CHICKASHA, Oklahoma -- Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday for a Chickasha High School football player who died after collapsing during practice.

Sixteen-year-old Kody Turner spent two days in critical condition, being treated for a heat-related illness. Kody died Friday morning.

The official cause of death has not been released.

A spokesperson with the Medical Examiner's office said full toxicology reports will be available in about three to six weeks. A partial report may be ready by midweek.

Kody's funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Grand Assembly of God in Chickasha.

A fund has also been set up at Chickasha Bank to help Kody's family out with expenses.
