Choosing the "Best Booster Seat" for Your Child
The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety looked at lap and shoulder belt fit of 72 booster seats for children 4 to 8-years-old.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety looked at lap and shoulder belt fit of 72 booster seats for children 4 to 8-years-old.
According to the institute, the lap belt should come across a child's upper thighs and the shoulder belt should be at the mid-shoulder.
From the study, the institute rated 21 "best bets," seven "good bets" and eight were "not recommended."
