OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Chemical Safety Board has launched a campaign to prevent the deaths of teenagers and young adults at gas and oil well sites.
Those sites are becoming increasingly popular with young people as a place to hang out and socialize. Investigators believe that is what led to the death of a 21-year-old man at an oil site in Weleetka on April 14.
Since 1983, 24 teens and adults have died at sites across the country; 10 of those deaths happened in Oklahoma.
