A group of professional athletes with Oklahoma-ties are joining forces to help children in Uganda.

Pros for Africa includes Adrian Peterson, Tommie Harris, Roy Williams and Mark Clayton. The athletes and a group of other Oklahomans will travel to Gulu, Uganda next week.

"To see the people over there, the struggle they're going through but how happy they are, and we complain about the little things that we go through over here," Chicago Bear Tommie Harris said. "You go over there and they have so little but they're so happy with what they have. It's just going to be a great experience."

Roy Williams, who currently plays for the Cincinnati Bengals, said he's looking forward to the trip.

"It's about opening your heart up and helping somebody else beside yourself," Roy Williams said.

The Baltimore Ravens' Mark Clayton said he thinks the trip will be a live changing experience.

"I can't imagine but I know it will impact it just hearing the stories," Clayton said. "I'm just excited to be in the atmosphere and offer all that God has instilled in me from hope to encouragement to laughter to physical ability, doing the wells and things like that."
