OKLAHOMA CITY -- Tuesday is election day in many Oklahoma towns.
In Oklahoma City, Mayor Mick Cornett is seeking a third term over challenger Steve Hunt. Mayor Cornett says his priority is to carry out the city-wide renaissance known as MAPS 3.
Cornett's opponent Steve Hunt publicly opposed the MAPS 3 tax and said if elected, he'll nix the largest of the voter-approved projects, the convention center.
In Norman, Mayor Cindy Rosenthal is running for re-election, but city councilman Hal Ezzell wants her job.
Norman voters will also decide three city council seats and two city bond issues-- one for new storm sirens and another for street improvements.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
