PURCELL, Oklahoma -- Utility crews from Blackwell, Oklahoma arrived in Purcell Friday morning to help restore electricity to the city.
Purcell lost almost all power Thursday amid the winter storm that blew into and covered the entire state.
The City Manager said as of Friday evening power, had been restored to about a fourth of the city.
If it weren't for these outside crews helping, it would be weeks and months probably to restore the power with our small crew we have," said Purcell City Manager Eric Johnson.
