OKLAHOMA CITY -- A motorcycle wreck tied up traffic along Interstate 40 this morning.
The accident happened at about 8:15 a.m. in the westbound lanes just east of the Dallas Junction.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said it looks like the motorcycle driver was making a lane change, lost control and was ejected. He was not wearing a helmet.
Paramedics rushed him to the hospital. His condition is unknown.
"I don't know if this was an experience motorcycle rider, you know, but for anybody that is out there riding, pay attention to what's going on around you; pay attention to the other vehicles," Lt. Kera Philippi, OHP Spokesperson, said.
No other vehicles were involved.
