OKLAHOMA CITY -- A Blanchard man accused of trying to rob an Oklahoma City bank with his wife, who was shot to death by a security guard, has been charged with first-degree murder in the woman's death.
Fifty-six-year-old Samuel Booth Lewis also was charged Wednesday with attempted robbery with a firearm and shooting with intent to kill.

Prosecutors allege Lewis and Barbara Lewis attempted to rob a MidFirst Bank, N May Avenue, on July 18. Police say Barbara Lewis was shot after she entered the bank and pointed a gun at a security guard, who shot her.
Police say Samuel Lewis was shot after exchanging gunfire with the guard, who wasn't injured.
Court records do not show if Lewis has hired or been assigned an attorney.
