Wicked weather hit parts of the state last night with severe winds, large hail and a possible tornado. Strongest wind gusts were near Braman(78 mph) and Altus(85 mph). Hail to the size of tennis balls were reported near Jet and a night-time tornado hit out in open country near Loyal in Kingfisher county. A beautiful forecast will follow in the wake of the stormy weather. Near or below seasonable temperatures are expected through Friday.
