Combined efforts from abundant moisture, multiple surface boundaries and just the right amount of upper-level energy will promote a risk of severe thunderstorms late this afternoon and tonight across central and western Oklahoma. The most likely time period for thunderstorm development will be from 4 PM today, to 2 AM early Sunday morning.
This afternoon's environment will be very favorable for quick-building thunderstorms. Isolated tornadoes, baseball-sized hail and 70 mph wind gusts will be from any of the storms today and tonight.
