Many days, and what has seemed like even more nights; the stormy weather pattern is changing! Showers and isolated thunderstorms will diminish from north to south this morning, and only linger this afternoon across far south central/east OK. Don't get me wrong, the rainfall we received over days past has been a boon - most parts of the the state are checking in with a year-to-date rainfall surplus.
A large ridge of high pressure in the mid-levels of the atmosphere will begin to take shape and build eastward beginning Monday. High pressure spells sunny, warm and DRY conditions. Expect the warmer side of spring to last until at least Friday.
