OKLAHOMA CITY -- OU Head Coach Jeff Capel is reportedly the top candidate for the head coach vacancy at Arizona.

The East Valley Tribune in Phoenix, Arizona published an article that says a source has disclosed negotiations are ongoing between Capel and the University of Arizona.

According to the article, Capel became the frontrunner only after John Calipari decided to accept the coaching position offered by Kentucky and Gonzaga's Mark Few decided to pass on Arizona's offer.
