Car Crashes with Dump Truck Near Cashion

CASHION, Oklahoma -- A car crashed into a dump truck while trying to make a u-turn on Waterloo Road Sunday evening.

The incident left two people trapped inside the vehicle. The victims were be taken by helicopter to OU Medical Center.

The victims' conditions and names have not been released.

Authorities said this accident should serve as a warning to drivers.

"We seem to have a problem with people doing u-turns in the middle of the county thinking nobody's out here. But they really need to pay attention...because it can happen anywhere," Chuck Countrymen with the Cashion Fire Department said.

A dog was also in the car and was taken to an animal hospital for treatment.
