1 Dead in Chickasha Car Crash

CHICKASHA, Okla. -- One person died, another was injured in a fatal one vehicle car crash in downtown Chickasha Saturday evening.

The crash occurred at Colorado Avenue and 4 Street around 5:30 p.m.

The passenger of the vehicle, 88-year-old Frank Dickerson, was killed in the crash. The driver was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.

Witness said the car hit a utility pole, but the driver did not appear to slow down before the crash.

Police are investigating the incident. The driver's name has not been released.
