Foot Chase Ends with Arrest

TULSA, OK -- An armed robbery suspect was chased down on foot Monday morning in downtown Tulsa.

Police say an officer spotted a car that matched a vehicle seen near an east Tulsa Subway restaurant robbery earlier Monday.

When officers stopped the vehicle, the suspect jumped out and ran.

After a short foot chase, the suspect was apprehended at the corner of 4th and Frankfort, about four blocks away from where he abandoned his vehicle.

Police believe the suspect is connected with the armed robbery of the Subway near Admiral and Sheridan.

The suspect, who was driving a stolen vehicle, was arrested and taken in for questioning.

The name of the suspect was not released.
