OKLAHOMA CITY - Oklahoma City's NBA team will practice this season at the Performance Sports Center in north Oklahoma City.
The team formerly known as the Seattle SuperSonics said Tuesday it has reached an agreement in principle to purchase the building.
The 30,000-square-foot facility will serve as the team's practice facility until a permanent one is built.
General Manager Sam Presti says the team was impressed with what Performance Sports Center was able to offer for its temporary needs. Presti says the NBA-size court and weight and training facilities are suitable.
The team will reportedly take over the facility on Friday and begin renovations to meet its needs. The team hopes to move in by the time training camp opens in September.
