Teen arrested in alleged fast-food holdup

WARR ACRES, Okla. -- A 17-year-old boy has been arrested after allegedly trying to rob a Sonic in Warr Acres at gunpoint early Thursday morning, Warr Acres police said.

The teen walked into the Sonic fast-food restaurant at NW 50 St. and N MacArthur Blvd. in Warr Acres a little after midnight on Thursday and attempted to rob the cashier.

Police said the boy was arrested under suspicion of robbery with a firearm, three counts of assault with a deadly weapon and committing a felony while masked or disguised.

There was no information if anyone was injured in the alleged attack or on the details of the incident.
