PAULS VALLEY, Okla. - A group of Pauls Valley teenagers is trying to get a skate park in their town.
Officials are looking into how to fund a park after the teenagers convinced city leaders and residents that one is need.
"We actually just skate around town," skateboarder Skip Judkins said.
Judkins and his friends got local business owners and five city council members to sign their petition. They got more than 700 signatures . They recorded all of their efforts and posted them on YouTube. Click here to watch the video.
City leaders said they support the project and expect some local businesses may help fund the skate park.
"We're for it; it's not anything we're against," Vice Mayor Billy Riddle said.
