More aftershocks following last week's earthquake

A strong aftershock shook Southern Illinois on Monday, three days after a magnitude 5.2 quake rattled the region.

WEST SALEM, Ill. (AP) -- There are more aftershocks in Southern Illinois following last Friday's magnitude 5.2 earthquake.

The U.S. Geological Survey says there have been 22 aftershocks since the initial quake, including one early this morning that registered 4.0.

Friday morning's quake shook a wide area of the Midwest and caused minor damage.
