Women undergoing treatment for breast cancer may need extra blood or platelets to get healthy. The Oklahoma Blood Institute is stepping in to help give those patients the blood they need while raising money to sponsor breat cancer research.
Jen Billings and Lorna Palmer visited the NEWS 9 studio with more on how Oklahomans can help.
From April 17 to May 22, when someone donates money, they can choose to have the Oklahoma Blood Institute make a donation to Susan G. Komen for a Cure. Viewers can register online or call them at 1-877-OBI-GIVE.
