Body found in neighborhood street

Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found Sunday morning in a northeast Oklahoma City neighborhood street.

An anonymous caller reported finding the body near NE 12 and Highland Drive after 5 a.m. Sunday, officers said.

Don Dawkins, 43, had multiple gun shots wounds. Officials have not determined a cause of death. Police said they are investigating the death as a homicide.
